Traxxas are not the only RC manufacturer looking to bring out nitro RC trucks based on the short course racing trucks featured in the CORR (Championship Off Road Racing™) events, some of the other big players are joining in the action. Team Associated’s answer to the Traxxas Slayer nitro RC truck is the Team Associated SC8 RTR RC truck.
Team Associated SC8 Nitro RC Truck
Like the Slayer, the SC8 is a 4WD nitro truck but unlike the 1/10th scale truck from Traxxas, Team Associated have opted for the larger 1/8th scale for the SC8. Based on the championship winning RC8T Truggy chassis and coming with a .28 engine the SC8 means business and will be well worth a look once it is released in October.

• 3mm low-profile black anodized aluminum shock towers.
• 3mm black anodized aluminum steering rack with ball-bearing steering system.
